Space 58.66

Space - slowed down…

"What happens when time slips? The original Space moved at 80bpm but somewhere out in a strange pocket of the cosmos, everything drifts slower. At 58.66bpm, gravity pulls the sound into a deeper orbit, stretching every beat into new dimensions."

This track came about when my good friend Adam, new to vinyl, played my track Space at 33rpm instead of 45. When I pointed it out, he tried both and still preferred the slower speed!

After a (little) cry, I decided to create this special version in his honour! At 58.66 bpm, the equivalent of playing the vinyl at the wrong speed. As well as the tempo change, some elements are re-pitched, others left as they were, and a few completely new parts added. I hope you enjoy this slowing down of time!
